Home Depot Inc Earnings Model (Rompicherla)

Author: Shrujay Rompicherla, Published: February 2, 2020 9:40pm, Category: Earnings Preview (Prior to Fiscal 4Q2019 earnings)

Summary of Model: An analysis of Home Depot's three major segments, including retail, supply, and products and services with revenue and margin assumptions, is performed to forecast the company's future earnings per share. Furthermore, "forward-looking statements" are based on the demand for our products and services; net sales growth; comparable sales; effects of competition; implementation of store, interconnected retail, supply chain, and technology initiatives; inventory and in-stock positions; state of the economy; state of the housing and home improvement markets. The future earnings model serves to benefit positively, which may drive comparable store sales to the top of the management's forecast.
