View: Bullish
Model Description: Through the Financial Modeling Internship Program at Gutenberg Research, I have developed my financial modeling skills by building an earnings model for Facebook Inc (NASDAQ: FB) for the second-quarter earnings season of 2020. My view on Facebook is Bullish, and in my model, I have included numerous assumptions that showcase my expertise to research the company as well as understand the current market situation. For instance, I looked into the partnership with Jio Platforms in India and how it has impacted the Asia Pacific region. I included this assumption under the Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) in my model. Furthermore, due to the COVID pandemic, the world has resorted to online sources more than ever. This has resulted in a spike in the number of users using the Facebook platform.
