Summary of Model Estimates: In my version of the IRBT earnings model I have tweaked the estimates to reflect the recent strength in Asia on the back of the wet floor line (Braava Jet) and recent acquisition of the Japanese distribution business (Sales On Demand Corp). I believe this will have a downward impact on Average Selling Price (Braava series ASP is lower than Roomba), but should increase units shipped significantly. My model also assumes operating expense as a percentage of revenue will decline to 38% in 2017, due to the improved leverage associated with a higher revenue base. These assumptions result in a Next Twelve Month (NTM) EPS estimate of $1.91. My price target of $70 is based on the three-month average consensus NTM Price-Earnings ratio of 39.3x, plus net cash per share of $5.92.
